Not seeing any problem so far but no goodies either. OK. You did have a long day and you will probably need to "breathe some oxygen"

before you get to it (BTW, I thought you did not smoke).

I did quit in between but now again once in a while.. its not a regular thing any more.. I go days without a smoke so its not an addiction any more

I think that there is some issue with the way the "New Post" button is behaving. It is bringing up 1 week old posts - or maybe the old posts have somehow been reset to "Unread".

Thats just a one off thing as I have changed the way the new posts are marked as read.
Earlier it used to be cookie based and if a user logged in from a different computer they had to make every thing as read again but now its database based and is 100% accurate regardless of where you log in from as long as you are logged in using your user name there will not be a mistake.

Please let me know if you still facing this issue.

Search results are limited to 50. Is it possible to increase the limit or does it cause too much load on the resources?

We dont have any over load problems any more... This what our serve is like :

Intel Core2Quad Q9300
RAM 8gb DDR2

Hard drives: 2X150GB Raptor (10000rpm for faster data read/write capability)

Uplink Port Speed 100mbps

And www.indiabroadband.net is the only website hosted on this box

So its like having a 20 bedroom house for a couple

We dont have any resource limitations any more.

I will increase this for you as soon as I find where to change it from

I was also going to ask you about pictures ... What size limits do you need for uploading pictures?

I have seen your album and I guess you have a very high end camera which you use..
I would rather set it to something high so that no one ould have to resize their images before they upload them..

Thanks for increasing the limit of the album pictures. The current limit is:

Maximum File Size per Picture 97.7 KB
Maximum Picture Dimensions 600 by 600 Pixels

BTW, What is "Rep Power"? How can one increase it?

Rep power is the amount of effect you can make positive/negetive on some one else on the forum when you click on the reputation button and add reputation for some one.

The green thing indicates how much reputation you have recieved from others.

I am yet to set it up correctly .. I am still stuck with some minor server issues.. once I am through with those I will start working on the forum stuff.

Number of Search results have been changed now to 500

Please give me a shout if you need this to be increased.

maximum picture size 600x600?? when i tried uploading a 320x320 photo as my display image it showed that it was limited to 100x100

The size of images we can upload now has been increased to 2MB. If you want me to increase it furthur please let me know.

What size avatars do you all need? We can make it bigger but please take into consideration those people who connect using gprs, dialup or other slow connections.

Current Avatar size is OK. Bigger Avatars will make the header too big unless 'user summary' is shifted to LHS.

Picture limit is still the same. I cannot load full size pictures. I reduced them to 1024x768 (about 234 KB) but still a problem.

Hi Admin,

Suggestion 1:
I am not sure what the problem was earlier when we applied a new theme. But it would be nice if we could have a nice theme, that would be great.

Suggestion 2:
A nice but lightweight logo (gif) will be good, instead of plain text. Also an icon (favicon.ico) that will distinguish our website.

Suggestion 3:
Forum posts could be displayed in two panels - LHS (narrow) panel to display user details and RHS (wide) panel can display post text.

Suggestion 4:
More user details can be added to User CP and displayed in LHS panel. For example, computer details, ISP Plan/Speed, etc.

I have added some new photos to existing albums and also created a new album. But I cannot see the thumbnails. I can see the pictures alright.
