    Default Subscribe to packages....

    Friends,
One of my friend purchased the Sun direct DTH service under one year basic channels free scheme some months back. Now he wants to add some sports channels by paying the charges. So that he recharged Rs. 200/- over phone with recharge card. At that time he tried to tell channels what he want to add. But the person who attended the phone told him to contact latter to the given number. After some time he tried the number. But the Phone was busy. He tried again and again for more than ten times. But the no. is busy. Daily he used to trying the given number atleast five time and got same result. Finally he fedup and ginen the detail to me and asked me to try. I also tried for more than ten times in two days. I also got the same busy message. How one can add the add-on packages? I also tried to add the channel through their web site. But they don't have such option.

What a service they do offer to their customers!

With this experience I humbly request all the people who are willing to buy or switch over to the Sun Direct, think hundred times about it.

Finally I am NOT RECOMMDING THE SUN DIRECT DTH SERVICE DUE TO THEIR VERY POOR FOLLOW UP SERVICE.

This is really a very poor customer service from sun direct, if some body wants to connect to customer care over phone then he has to wait for years. really very bad.

i think other options are also available to get your account recharged and to add ADDONs the best way is to get it done your self if you have any problem you can try the last option that is recharge through phone which you may find irritating.

you can get it done through...

    SMS
    ONLINE

the best and hassle free way to get it done.

Thank you for help Mr. deepmohan. I hope that this will work. Should I send muldiple sms for the multiple add-on packages or single sms is enough by typing multiple codes in one time? Please clear this doubt also. If it is possible how could I defferenciate the code, by comma or colon?

    welcome

about your second query i am not sure better send different sms for different add-on packages that will be more better, why to mess with a thing which you are not sure.

i just got my sun direct waiting for it to get activated, will inform if i find something new and informative.

You can add multiple packages through their Customer Self Care portal

its easy you can find your details their, can get your account recharged and can add ADD-Ons.

use your smart card id as "User name" and password will be "password" which u can change after Login.
