Thread: iPad 3: Latest Design Snap Leaked

The IPad 3 has been causing waves in the electronics industry ever since its launch has been announced. According to latest sources at the repair labs of fixiphone.com some interesting features has been introduced in the iPad 3. Rumor mills are going crazy to get their hands on the juicy updates and recent design leaks of the iPad 3. They have been trying to get a sneak peek into the back panel of the iPad 3. According to them it can tell loads about the many cool features of the yet to be released IPad 3. The Repair Labs has released a photo of the latest iPad 3 along with a photo of iPad 2. The comparison between them is evident and four major differences are clearly visible in the photo posted by them.

Comparison between iPad 3 and iPad 2:

•The first difference between iPad 2 and iPad 3 is the placement or the mount of the logic board. In iPad 3 the logic board used in much smaller and its mount is way different than that of iPad 2. This change directly indicates that there is a significant change in the processor if iPad 3. Most probably a different processor is used in it instead of repeating the processor of iPad 2. The processor which is rumored to be used in iPad 3 is quad core A6 processor which is yet to be released from Apple. It is rumored to be clocked at 1 GHz.

•The above difference also implies that there is a slight change in battery size. Meaning iPad 3 would be having a slightly larger battery than iPad 2. This is the second difference between these two models. This rumor of a bigger battery in iPad 3 has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. The increase in battery size means that the battery used in iPad 3 is an upgraded version of that one used in iPad 2 and hence it would increase processing power. A much higher capacity battery will be provided in iPad 3.

•The difference which is visible from the displayed back panels of iPad 2 and 3 is the camera. The camera is alleged to be different. But no more has been found about it. It is not still a big question that whether the same camera model of iPad 2 will be repeated or it. It is for sure that they will have an upgrade in camera too as the camera of iPad 2 was not that outstanding. Rumor has it that iPad 3 will have the same camera as that of the newly released iPhone 4S.

•The last change is that display mount of iPad 3 is quite different from that of iPad 2. This is considered to be the major difference between these two models. iPad 3 will have a completely different LCD display. It is rumored that iPad 3 will have a retina display which will definitely improve the performance of iPad 3 as compared to iPad 2. As this was one of the biggest customer demands therefore this feature has possibility of making its way to the iPad 3. It has also been rumored that apple will release the iPad 3 at the end of the year.

These are some exciting facts that have been leaked by the repair labs. They are said to have increased the enthusiasm and interest of the customers who are eagerly waiting for the much awaited release of iPad 3.

I really don't care about tablets in general - and I have decided to stay away from Apple products as far as possible.

I am not one of thos types who works only on email, browsing and e-reading. Hence a tablet is nothing but a fancy toy for me. Granted that the tablet (whether an ipad or galaxy tab) looks stylish an impressive but there is little substance otherwise. For example, one cannot work on an Excel or Powerpoint effectively on a tablet. Untill all real world applications move to the cloud, any tablet will remain a toy.

It is like a tandoori chicken with bones only - at least for now.

Coming back to iPad3, from the news it still appears that Apple is still not willin to add microSD support to the device. This is a real bummer.

Yeah... you are correct... I also think personally that until the introduction of 4G network in India, Apple products, especially iPhone 4S and upcoming iPad 3 don't worth at all...
