As with several other tablets, the same blazing question regarding the Asus Eee Pad Transformer prime release is this: is this tablet is having much more features compared to the Apple iPad2?
A little bit less thrilling, next question that directly took place after it is: is it strong enough to beat the renowned champions of Android tablets, the light and super slim Samsung Galax Tab 10.1?
We will surely discuss both the questions deeply, but for those people that do not like to wait for the punch line; we just have to say that ultra thin and light Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime supposed to be the best tablet ever made.
It is expected that the Asus Eee Pas Transformer Prime is supposed to be go on sale in Jan 2012 in UK. It has been found that there should be only one version of this device that will be packed with a charger, keyboard, cleaning cloth, 32GB SKU, ear buds and USB Cable.
This complete package costs around £499, that is £70 more than that of the cost of the 16GB tablet keyboard bundle that the actual Asus Eee Pad Transformer was launched in the year of 2011.
The most significant spec on the new Transformer is its Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. Everything astonishing in the Prime tablet depends on this quad core, 1.3GHz processor.
It plays the HD videos smoother (and longer, with the battery use of up to 12 hours for video) than ever before. Games abruptly look dynamic and fluid, with effects of water ripple, fog, smoke, and explosions that imitate what you had normally find in a Computer game.
It is having a super crisp IPS display, which is much more similar to one that is being used in the iPad 2. This display is completely easy on the eyes even with the incandescent bulbs shining around you or even in outdoor locations.
It is having an 8.0 mega pixels rear camera that records a video of 1080p which seems much clear and smooth as compared to that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Whereas the front camera of 1.2 MP is best suited for the video chat and gives a smooth and clear video than the other tablets.
The all new Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is also having a free intuitive webstorage app that offers offloading the files; you can also pop in a microSD card up to 32GB in the left side slot.
It is enabled with various sort of connections including Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11n, 3.5 mm head phone jack and a micro HDMI port in order to connect an HD TV to it.
The width of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is more than that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with the dimensions 263 x 180.8 x 8.3 mm, whereas the 10.1 inches screen with resolution 1280 x 800 pixels is same.
As compared to the iPad2, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is lighter with weight 586g where as it is a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It is another thing that few grams don’t matter for someone.
