Default Which 3G Service to choose?

Hey guys, I am planning to buy a 3G connection in India, which provider is best? I have heard a lot about Reliance offering it's 3G with speeds of 28 mbps but I not sure which one to go for. Can you help me with that?
Also I have learnt that Reliance is present in 19 circles, the larger than any other operator.

Airtel, Tata Docomo and Idea(may also) give you good services..
besides them, Govt. owned BSNL is also providing 3g services in most places, at good pricing but speeds are not as much as the private ones..

Okay, thanks so much. What do you think of Reliance? Isn't that a better deal with 28 mbps?

    You have not indicated city.
Only BSNL has 3G service all over India. All other service providers only have licence for limited no. of cities.
If you are only looking for data services, then there is also the option of EVDO (CDMA 3G) offered by Reliance, TATA and BSNL with all India roaming facility.

Okay, I was looking to buy it in Mumbai. EVDO, what exactly is it? And is Reliance what I should go for? I have used some of their services and they seem fine. But 3G is a new area.
So in Mumbai. I have already applied for Reliance's 3G on my Reliance number. Hope it get's activated fast. The process was relatively smooth.
