Thread: 'HOW TO GET' tata docomo 3g using an unlocked modem

hi,
i have an unlocked Huawei e1752 modem
is it a 3g modem?
if yes, how can connect to tata docomo 3g using this device?
when i connect it to my lap top with docomo sim.. it showing only
'edge tata docomo'
please somebody help me out

Make sure you have 3G activated on your SIM. Also, try with some other SIM if it works or not.

In the device software, change the network mode to "WCDMA Only", then reconnect the device.

Now help from your chat support or even calling to CC , the agent to whom I spoke he said and i quote "We dont support customer's with 3rd party Datacard's and you should only buy datacards provided by docomo to access internet." This is what reponse I got from you CC.

i have seen my friends use huwei umg 1831 with docomo 3g sim

I think put the sim set the apn take a 3g pack and use
