Default Tata Docomo unused data can be carried forward

Airtel not so long ago came out with a new way for unused data balance to be carried forward, and now Tata Docomo is following the foot steps.

Tata Docomo will also now allow their users to carry forward their unused data to the next month, all that needs to be done is get a recharge done. For 2G users they need to get a 2G recharge done and for 3G users they need to get a 3G recharge done, but all before the expiry date of the current plan. The current data plan will be added to the new recharged data plan and will have the same validity.

This is actually a really good move from mobile service providers, I always have data left and the remaining always goes to waste because the data expires.

This is the first time I am hearing the news about Reliance and MTS. With the MTS balance being carried forward is this valid for the dongle connection as well?

Are you sure BSNL has this feature or even started it first, because neither was there any news or information about it. Generally such information is announced to customers so that they can benefit from it.

Strange I have never heard of it either. What do you need to do to carry data balance or minutes forward to the next month.

On Tata DoCoMo I use a talktime+data recharge every month. Now would I be able to carry the data forward if I do just that recharge or do I have to do a 3G-only recharge to do it? Does anyone know? Thanks!

Yes, Tata Docomo has provided their customers the facility to carry forward the unused data benefits to the next pack. Now it has become more economical than earlier. For 2G by recharging with a 2G data pack and for 3G by recharging with a 3G data pack before the expiry date.

    Hi
    Good news
Users can now carry forward their unused data balance, for 2G by recharging with a 2G data pack and for 3G by recharging with a 3G data pack before their existing data pack validity expires
