Thread: 1lakh car soon to hit the road

There is much hyper about this new tata motors product.
Couple of years ago, it was declared officially that tata is going to bring out a new car keeping in view of the middle class society.
A car for 1lakh INR.

The dreams are going to come true within a couple of months from now.
It is expected to be displayed in the Indian Auto Expo on Jan08.
When everything goes fine, in the coming year we can see these cars everywhere on Indian roads.

I would love to see people say goodbye to two wheelers in India and it will be good to see almost every middle class person to be able to afford a car

It would be interesting to see what the fuel economy would be like because if its more then 30kmpl then maruti 800 will be gone for ever as most people still buy those 800's due to the fuel economy they provide.

Any one got any pictures or more details about this tata's 1 lakh rs car ?

This car is scheduled to be launch on January 10 and if every person who have two wheeler upgrades to this car 1 lac then i am going to downgrade and would love to use public transports cause i know what would the traffic scenario then.
