Mahindra because of there Jeep/Chrysler association in the past, have an edge in terms of technology when it comes to 4-wd, off-roading capabilities, etc. The Scorpio definitely excels in this area. And it is slightly cheaper also.

However, one must look at what features one desires. The choice will immediately present itself.

well i'm usin safari from one year, it's true that it have alots of complaint wth this clutch hardning problem, unwanted noise from interior, due to its poor quality. Very big issue is that it have hydraulic power sttering, oil leekage is the big problem.

Tata Safari is a royal SUV. I would vote for Tata Safari. Mahindra Scorpio is a stunning performer but it's excessive use for commercial purpose has lowered it's dignity.

    Hi Ashish Sehgal
No doubt Tata Safari is amazing SUV but new on wards this cars has to face very tough competition form the Mahindra XUV500 which is far better then safari in terms of price, mileage and maintenance in fact this XUV500 has almost crashed the market of other suv's. See Tata Safari has a main drawback which is its high maintenance and service charge and another is its mileage.

This post is over 3 years old and at that time the Mahindra XUV500 did not exist. It will be better to start a new thread on that. For the present, let us stick with the original subject.
