Rep Power: 4  |  spare yourself this trouble I used to use Mantraonline dialup connection. It was a breeze but expensive. So I started looking for an alternative and came across Tata Indicom !! It was offering a one-year connection for about Rs.800/- . Mantraonline was 800 for two-month renewal. Knowing that Tata Indicom was using the backbone of VSNL, I bought this connection. But ... what is a connection if it would not connect. It turned out to be an absolutely hopeless connection. So hopeless was it that even calling their service center could not help. It would show a connection at 40kbps but the actual download speed would be less than 1/5th. It would frequently disconnect and would not connect for ... hours. I am sure a worse service is yet to hit Indian market. Stay away from it. Do not be tempted by its low rates. |
