Rep Power: 0  |  Web Hosting from LAN - TNDSL 2120 router Hi, I am trying for days to host my web appl. on one of systems on LAN. we are having Tata indicom unlimited connection with router TeleNet TNDSL 2120 with static IP. -->TNDSL --> D-LINK ethernet switch --> connections to all systems. I configured, router's NAT,DHCP server. and system's LAN(TCP/IP) - static internal IP,getway,DNS. I searched in forums and websites, did what ever required. but even after all these, I am not getting access to my web appl. from external ip address. ht-tp:// xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/webApp/default.aspx is D-Link switcher configuration is also required? how? can anybody help me! if required i can send further details. Thanks. |

Rep Power: 0 |  Tweaking router I got it! ----------------- beautiful sites: www (dot) PortForward (dot) com www (dot) dyndns (dot) com --------------------- rule1: always test from outside of your n/w. rule2: Use port no. other than 80. ---------------------- NAT config is enough. DHCP config (is optional). => LAN (TCP/IP) config (is optional) -->for static ip ---------------------------- Good Luck! |

Rep Power: 0 | Hi hemanth, Is your IP address is static or dynamic? and do you want to configure router for WEBHOSTing ? then, try following the steps in my second post. If you have any particular question, you may post. I not tried with bsnl, but you can get answers from websites i listed above. |
