Thread: Tata WiMAX VPN issue - Anyone managed to resolve?

Hi,
I just paid for my Tata indicom WiMAX prepaid connection at Chandanagar, Hyderabad (384kbps UL - 6 months). I had the verification call last week and although they havent installed it. Now i was searching generally about the cancellation procedure and the first link i get is about "Vpn client not working in tata indicom". Thats a shocker, because the prime reason i wanted broaband was to logon to VPN and work from home sometimes.
So i might decide to cancel the cheque i gave them if VPN doesnt work and opt for Airtel instead (BSNL not available in the street i live). can anyone let me know if they managed to fix the VPN issue? If not i would be glad to cancel the cheque and eventually the connection.

I am also facing with the SAMEEE issue. (See my queries here ..).
The only resolution it seems is to move to 384 plus plan @ 1200 pm where u will get a static IP.

Else u can buy 1 @ 2000/-.

Please let me know bout the Airtel plans if u have switched or if any other soln ?
