    Default Surrendering Connection

    Hi,

Does anyone know the right procedure to surrender pre-paid Broadband connection of Tata Indicom. Connectivity in my new area is not feasible so I want to surrender it and I'm not getting any response from their CC

    Thanks,
    Kunal

What does it mean that "connectivity is not feasible in your area"? Does it mean that you have paid the money but TI has failed to give you a connection? Or does it mean that you are getting low speeds, frequent disconnections, etc.?

Make a written application in duplicate. Submit the application to their nearest ceter (not a fanchise). Take a RECEIVED stamp and signature/date on the duplicate.

If that does not work, talk to CC and ask to talk to the manager. Ask where the office is located in your locality.

But I am afraid that for the pre-paid connection, then may delay, or worse, not refund you the balance. In that case, you may have to follow up with Consumer Court action.

aahhh... sorry about the confusion here...
I forgot to mention that I'm tata indicom customer from past 2 years. Now I've changed my house and shifting to new location. I submitted "shift location" form from their website but got the reply saying that feasibility in new area is not possible. So I thought its better to surrender the connection and get the refund.
When I replied asking them whats the procedure for surrendeing it since I don't find it on the website I'm not getting any response from CC

you don't need to do anything. just dont recharge next time when your validity expires. after some days they will call you up and try to convince you to continue with the connection. just tell, them you dont want to continue. they will come to your place and gather their installation kit - i.e. the modem/router and the wires
