i think you need to configure your router in pppoe mode to share the connection on multiple pcs

I do not think tata wimax can be configured in PPPoE mode.

Request for a static IP and then share the connection it will work.

u dont need a static ip, just call the customer care of the router and ask them to help u confiure the router, if u still want more info , u will find this in the forum, search for it u will get it.

Static IP needs to be assigned to the different PCs in the network. If the default gateway is assigned 192.168.1.1, the rest of the PCs are assigned 192.168.1.2, 1.3, 1.4 IP address... Then only the connection can be shared in between them using NAT.

    Plumbba is right.

You need a static IP. Same problem arose with me when I tried to configure wireless router.

Actually tata requires login to their system to start the net. Hence i requested customer care but they refused to provide me service for configuring the router. But at the end they gave me a static IP.

    That it. Issue resolved.
