    Default Missing Antenna

    I have been using tata indicom wimax connection for more than 6 months and was pretty much satisfied, until this strange thing happend.
    One fine day ( Friday 6 feb 2009) when i came back to my flat in the evening , I was surprised to see that the wimax antenna was missing. According to one of my neighbour some one from tata indicom came and cut the wire and took the antenna saying i had asked for transfer of connection. He asked that guy ( my neighbour) to inform me to return the router also. The fact is that i never asked for transfer of connection and have been paying my bills on time also. On friday only i lodged a complain regarding that and since then i m getting calls from different persons from tata indicom and to everyone i have to explain the same thing again and again. Worse i could imagine, today i got a call and the person from other side blamed me that i have stolen the antenna and they would take legal action against me. Instead of accepting their own mistake of replacing someone's else connection now they are blaming me only. I dont know whom to complain now for this. Can someone help me regarding this.

    I assume its 6th Feb 2009 only.
    Have u complained to the Police for loss of antenna? if not do it immediately saying that unknown persons have stolen the antenna (indicating the Serial No. etc. if there is one) and give a copy of the same to TATA guys.

    yes its 2009 only. I havent complained to police. I will do that now. But isn't it a mistake from Tata indicom side, they make people suffer like this as in they cut connections without calling the customer. Few weeks before there was a problem in my connection and i had lodged a complain. someone again without informing me came to my house checked the antenna and then informed me that antenna was fine and there could be problem with the router or smthing. Worse thing is they are not ready to inquire in their own department , they simply say we havent done this. This is really weird.

    once have lauched the FIR, make sure u call the tata guys and tell them, furthermore ifanyone from tata calls u and talks about any legal action, talk back to them that u will drag them to the consumer court, that will silence them.

    Its now more than a month and after submitting FIR to tata indicom office and talking to three different persons .. finally i have been asked to pay 7000 Rs for the antenna. According to them their policy has changed and now they dont provide new antenna without payment. They even talk of legal notices if i do not pay them the money they have asked for. First they do mistakes , cause inconvenience to customers and then simply say it wasnt their fault. So far no one came to my house for any inquiry but they make all kind of stories when i call them or visit their office. I never thought of this kind of response from a tata group company. I have decided to go for airtel now but dont know what to do for this tata indicom crap.
