Rep Power: 0 | My wireless broadband connection was installed on 17th Feb 2009. AND I HAVE NOT BROWSED CONTINOUSLY FOR MORE THAN 20 MINS SINCE THEN. THERE IS A FREQUENT DISCONNECTTION PROBELM WITH MY CONNECTION. I logged complaint many times but there were no actions taken. I paid Rs 2124/- to install the connection and now the worst part is that "My account" is showing Rs 1268/- amount as outstanding balance. Bill was generated on 21st Feb 09. In just four days they charged me 1268/- amount again. I AM TOTALLY FED UP WITH THE SERVICES OF THE TATA BROADBAND. The worst services in the world. |

| ritesh_saxena i know the service of the TATA once i also got bill of 6k when i was using the WLL 399 night unlimited offer.... i didnt pay them a single penny, dont worry just tell them to give the details of your web usage ie at what tme you connected, how much bytes you downloaded & what time you disconnected,,, i am sure they cant provide this.... My advice is dont go totally depressed just go to the office & talk calmly and try to explain them everything, if they dont co-operate with you then dont hesitate to blast them away... tell them if the issue is not resolved in 24 hrs ill lodge a complaint in consumer court..... |

All the very best to you dont expect anthing less from TATA I have been a Tata Broadband Customer in Mumbai for 6 months and I want to share my personal experiences with you so that you should go through the mental truama of being a TATA customer.First of all it is the king of downtimes,its not working most of the times.Customer Service is very poor and not existent,Technicians are rude and use your computer to check personal emails,These people employ goondas who disconnect the connection on purpose and use abusive and threatening language on the phone (Mr Bhavesh I am talking about you),Once your renewal time is near these crazy people will harass you day and night to get the renewal done. FIRST OF ALL TATA PROVIDES SUCH EXCELLENT SERVICE AND THEN EXPECT US TO RENEW.THIS IS CRAP... AND TATA IS CRAP. WORST ISP IN MUMBAI HANDS DOWN...... | |

Rep Power: 1 | Hi I too share the concerns that everyone has expressed. I have had a horrendous experience with Indicom. I paid 3200 rs for my connection for 4 months. After one week, my connection never worked. I lodged numerous complaints but to no avail. Even for speaking to the customer care you have to wait like 10 mins. I got huge telephone bills because of this. When i ran out of patience i told them to disconnect my connection and told them that they have the worst service. The technician literally threatened me for this. I was billed for using no service at all. I must have atleast complained 30 times but it was all in vain. So my advice to all friends is that avoid Indicom. You are better without internet than with an indicom connection. They hire goons to install connections and they are really scary. In short Indicom laga dala to life jingalala.... |

Rep Power: 1 | Pathetic is the only word that comes to my mind. I took a connection yesterday and paid them 4 months advance by check (Lucky that I paid cheque) Some idiots came and installed the connection. The wiring was all open. No fitting/pipes to have the wire fixed on the walls. No drilling through the windows.. Just pulled the wire through the middle of the room, over the bed onto the table. The switch, the modem and all other wiring simple open and wide. Upon questioned the installation guy says, that's not out job, that's your job. Tata Tele is just a piece of ****. It looked absolute mess as if I took a connection from a street vendor (probably they are fit only as a street vendor profile) I have cancelled the cheque online and asked them to take their crap back. Avoid Tata Indicom / Tata Tele or whatever crap they call themselves. Have already an Airtel connection that works fine and the approach of the company is also very professional and tidy. Rep Power: 0 | Hi All, This is regarding my experience on wireless broadband of TATA wireless service. I have bad experience from taking the connection to cancelling back. I walked to TATA Indicom center and they r very happy to provide me plug2surf model connection. When i started surfing i got unbelievable to speed - for loading google home page it has taken 20mins. Then, i made call to customer care and they told change these thats,etc... after 20mins. they told i have problem in my browser. Next day i complain to showroom where i have taken then after 1 day they sent one technical guy who gone thru all the process and finalized that i have bad signal in my area. Then, finally he told " I will log a complaint about signal and for bringing tower near to area will take 3 months". For cancellation also i have experience many problems. My name is not registered at all. Thanks god finally i got BSNL connection which one can TRUST always. |

Rep Power: 0 | Hi, I'm not new to Tata Indicom Broadband. I'm using it for last two years, and recently discovered that Tata Indicom and Tata Indicom Broadband are two seperate entities!!! Firstly, I gone through disconnections every now and then, I was tired to lodge complaints, then they changed the location for the Server for my connection, and they said, your problem will be solved. However it was never solved. Recently I shifted to DSK Vishwa, Pune from Sadashiv Peth, and I was told by Tata Indicom Broadband people that the connection is not feasible at this new location, so I decided to go for Tata Indicom. The speed is awesome (simply sarcasm!!!). I started with 128 kbps and used to wait like around 1 hr to download 60 MB files, then I shifted to 4Mbps and not yet happy with the speed, I never reached 50 KBps with this new plan. I don't understand what to do, and where to go, as no other ISP is able to provide me broadband connection. Madhav. |
