guys what torrent download speeds should be expected in a 512 kbps..i knw its 64kB/s ideally...
but dat happens rarely...what are wimax users getting??

i am getting between 52-57kB/s

You should expect maximum download speed upto 64kBps. Ideally you should get the download speed of 64kBps but the speed depends upon a lot of factors. Just dig this forum and you would get a lot of information....

i tried all kinds of tewaking and settings but i could not yet eextract the max speed of 65 kB/s..

any tips on how could that be done..

i have tried many articles in the forum which talks about increase in speed..
but i still get between 52-57kB/s

Did you do the speed testing? How much does it show?

DL speed n torrent varies as per number of seeders too.

The promised speed of 512 kbps is within the ISP network. If you are getting 52~57 KB/s, then you should be OK.

i used to get 57-64 i Airtel.....
i knw its just about 4-5 kB/s but y still i cant get a connection like
AIRTEL
that was perfect....
i get perfect download speeds but the thing is the download through torrents
Airtel average torrents download 58-60kB/s
TATA average torrents download 51-54 kB/s
I HAVE GOT STATIC IP
PORTS ARE FORWARDED PERFECTLY
SIGNAL STRENGTH IS 25-27
TWEAKED UTORRENT

P.s. even youtube stops loading in the middle that never used to happen..i mean i pause and wait its loads a bit i start the video and it stops loading in between...

NO AIRTEL FEASIBILITY
