| Please do not go in for Tata Wimax Read my email below which i have sent them- Hi, I am holding a Tata Wimax Connection with the username I would like to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the use of your services. I chose to pay 6 months advance rental in order for me to get a free Wifi router. After applying for the connection, I received at least 5 phone calls asking for my address and what time would be suitable for me to get the connection installed. I do not understand what kind of systems you people run that so many calls were necessary. In addition another enquiry number was generated, which was different to the one provided to me when i applied for this connection. Inspite of all this, your engineers showed up at my residence at a time on 26th September which was not suitable for me. The connection was installed at my residence on 26th September 2009. However, either due to the incompetence of your engineers, or due to the bad equipment you provide them, they were unable to drill a hole through a wall to bring a wire inside to connect the router to the dish they had installed. However, inspite of this installation which was supposed to be your responsibility, I continued to trust in your services because I regard the Tata name with high service quality. I was asked by (Mr Manoj, 9871000436) to get this installation done on my own. Why not? If you guys can't do it, just tell the customer to do it himself! I then proceeded to get the hole drilled at my OWN EXPENSE and was accomplished in a week. After calling up your manager (Mr Manoj, 9871000436) and informing him that I had done what his incompetent people could not, he informed that he shall send me his engineers once again. But he did request me once to "remind him again tomorrow, or else he will forget"!!! What kind of service quality do you people maintain that you have to be "reminded"!!! Anyways, when I asked what is he sending his engineers for, he didn't have an answer. I informed him the connection has been installed and I am waiting for the free wi-fi router only. I was told that I shall be getting this within 30 days of installation directly from the company. This was NEVER made clear to me. As a result I have not used your internet connection for the first 3 weeks, since there is no wireless router. Of course you are charging me for the same! Needless to say, the wireless router has yet not arrived. Finally when I decided to use the connection by directly connecting the system instead of waiting for the wireless router, the connection refused to work. I called up customer care, and I was told that someone would be sent to my place the next day. They asked me a suitable time, and I informed them after 8 PM (apologies for this, since I DO work in an office and get back home late). Amazingly your engineer did show up, but in the middle of the day, when I was not around. Now why did you ask a suitable time when there was no intention of him showing up at that time? Perhaps you should have just sent him without asking me a suitable time. Though I do appreciate, he did fix the problem. Today is 17th October 2009. I got the connection installed on 26th September. Exactly 3 weeks to the date. No Wireless Router in sight. No Welcome kit in sight. Perhaps I made a mistake in trusting in you and making an advance payment of 6 months. Please do not call me. I do not have the patience to take your calls. Just deliver my damn wireless router if its not too much trouble.
