Default Configuring Huawei WA1003A for Tata Indicom

    Hello All,

This is my first question/post in India Broadband Forums.

I have a Tata Indicom connection at home. The ADSL modem they provided does not have wireless. First time I asked the network engineer configure my Huawei wireless modem+router (WA1003A that I got from BSNL previously) to be used with Tata Indicom. I was not home, so I have no idea what he did. But the wireless was working fine.

I have just relocated now and had my broadband line reconnected. Now I am unable to connect to the internet (has only local access) from my laptop through the Huawei modem. I called the network engineer, he refuses to set it up. I called up Tata Indicom to ask if they can provide a wireless router+modem(Like Airtel/BSNL), they don't have it!

I have a static IP. I am not sure what has to be done. Can some one help?

    Regards,
    Arvind

1.Your telephone number is Changed ?
2.What is the modem/make/model of Tataindicom supplied unit

    3. what is "local access".?
    4. How you connect to Internet now ?with Tataindicom modem ?

Don't try now : given for future use.
Don't change any settings in WA1003A.
