Thread: ping problem

we have 230 no of pc in our office.last three 30 days i there are some problem with ping.when i ping one pc its replay after 200 -400ms. normally it must ping within 1ms. how can i solve the problem.

Trying to ping the modem gateway ?
say 192.168.1.1 ?
Only one computer or all 230 computers having same problem ?
Mention Modem/model/make/number
and switch/hub/ router you use.
Speed of your Internet connection.
