Thread: Tata Broadband Account sharing

I have taken Tata Indicom broadband connection(wired) at my home and also at my wife's home. Right now i am using 512 UL in my home and another small plan in my wife's home.I am planning to change to infinity 2.5 mbps unlimited plan at my home (5000/month) , due to my work related needs. So my question is

1) When i am at my wife's home , while continuing renewal of the small plan, can i use the 2.5 mbps plan registered at my home by changing username/password in the router console ?

2) will simultaneous use is possible? means if i login and use the 2.5 mbps plan at my home, same time will anyone be able to login to that account and use the account without logging me out?

3) whats the tata policy on this type of sharing---any policy/legality violations?

So you mean TATA has implemented port binding or so? But one of my friend is sharing an account. he is sharing a business account which can be simulataneously accesed from another no place also.

You can Investigate Prepaid BB service of BSNL.
Condition; You must have a Bsnl Landline connection.
Program the modem for "Dialer Mode "
Register and get a BB UserID/PW
Now you can access this account from
ANYWHERE In India from a BSNL L/L phone.

this means that u can change UID AND PASS at Wifes house..... and it will get connected 100% ........ i tried myself...... iam using qp360 plan with night unlimited 9-9 [2mb]
And My Friend uses 1mbps unlimited plan..... and i have only 2 hourse daily...so i use his plan dduring day..and he uses my plan in night.....
no problem atall....
i get 120kbps+ whole day...... and night i get 250kbps+ and my friend to get 240kbps at night using my plan.....wwe both r roccking broadband usage...we download daily 25gb

If you are talking about Tata Broadband then you can not use same account from two places at a same time.

Account sharing is not advised

According to Tata TOS, for any such issue they have rights to terminate your services anytime.

This seems to be the third time iam writing my personal review on TATA Indicom broadband services because of the real bad experiance iam having with them.
I already had bad experiance but since i had prepaid them for a 512 kbps connection at my office i didnt have any other option rather than going with Tata indicom only.One more problem was BSNL has a waiting time of 4 months minimum and since iam damn busy at my new office setup which is going to be a 1000 sft space office with many sections for 2 new business integrated in the seo and hosting business i run.
