    Exclamation Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 Not Worth to go for !

    I have been using Tata Indicom Broadband for past 2 and half years now, though the customer care call centre is good enough to handle customers but at the user end customer problems are not at all rectified. I usually have about 3 to 5 complaints generated every week! But they can only keep generating complaint no. nothing else will be done by them.
    I usually face these problems:
    1) Line disconnection owing to physical damage wire outside my premises.
    2) Local Server will be down frequently
    3) Frequent disconnection
    4) Speed irregularity
    5) above all local wire man and Engineer will quarrel and show frustration with me for frequent complaints.
    They main reason why i am not able to pull out from their service is that their plans are such that no one can pull out easily!
    They problem i face in pulling out from their service is that after a billing cycle i will have a remaining amount of Rs.2000 to 4000 somehow. When i go for extending validity of my balance, where in i will be added another Rs.1500 in my account. In this way i caught in the trap.
    I will strongly recommend not going for Tata indicom. Please advise the same to your friends and relatives also.

    just go to the consumer court. someone's head has to roll. I was facing the same problem of frequent disconnection for almost 4 months till i threatened these guys and said that i'll go to the consumer court.

    Its pathetic, how the Tata brand name is being spoilt be some a**hole employees.

    You need to provide atleast a complaint number so we know the other side of the story as well and make sure its not some one from Reliance or Airtel or other companies trying to malign Tata's brand image.

    I haven't had any issues with Tata's service for a long time now apart from some initial hiccups which I posted on the forum as well back then but ever since Tata's broadband service has never caused any trouble atall and speed is never a problem either.

    Hi Admin,

    Why is a complaint number necessary to share one's experience? Complaint numbers should be meant for dealing with the Customer Care departments, not as a proof here, IMHO. If someone comes to this forum looking for whether a service is good or not, I doubt if they're going to care for the complaint number. I don't think they're gonna call Tata's customer care & ask for the history of a particular complaint number (not that the customer care is going to provide it to anyone except the ones authorized to get it).

    I'm also a victim of their poor service. trsram is just sharing his/her experience, it's unfair to get paranoid with such posts. Such kind of response can discourage people from sharing their experiences with particular broadband services (which I guess is the basic purpose of this forum), don't you think so? If it was someone from Reliance, Airtel, etc., wouldn't they've gone ahead & stated further that now they've got this or that company's connection & how great their service is & how much they're enjoying it?

    You're lucky for not having any trouble as of now, but everyone's not so fortunate. BTW, our experiences with TATA is a bit reversed . Contradictory to your experience, I was having great service initially, but am facing way too much problems lately.
