If u enjoy feeling like a idiot then TATA indicom (VSNL) is the connection you should go for.
I have been complaining from a month that my broadband connection keep dropping every few minutes and every time the call center guy asks the same silly questions in the same sequence,
1, Is the switch in line mode or loop mode?
This is spite of me telling them that the connection keeps coming and going they suggest that some one must be switching it from line to loop mode every now and again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2, have I cleared my Internet Explorer cache?
When I tell them I use only firefox browser, they insist that I still have to clear my IE cache for the connection to work properly
3, then when I inform about my continuous line dropping they promise that it will be attended in 6 working hours with the phase “I will place your complaint on the highest priority sir “and ending with “is there anything else I can do for you? “ and then they add insult to injury with the parting phase “ Have a nice day and thank you for calling TATA indicom “ as if I have called the complaint center for some social time pass.
Given below is a list of my complaints and complaint numbers, WHICH BY THE WAY HAVE ALL BEEN CLOSED BY VSNL AS HAVING BEEN ATTENTED TO AND CONNECTION WORKING SATISFACTORY!!!!!!

Members of this forum must be wondering why I don’t go for a alterative service provider, the fact is that I give a call to airtell every month but as of now they say the feasibility of connection in my area is not there, and knowing the level of service in India there is no guarantee they will be any better,
To sum it up in my own country, my own city, in my own house “I FEEL IMPOTENT” , all because I have committed the cardinal sin of desiring a broadband internet connection in my house.
