Thread: Slow Speed connection with overseas server

Hi,
I'm having indicom connection since 4-5 years now. I'm happy with it. I've a 2 mbps plan.
Since couple of weeks net's been very slow. Even youtube videos are buffering very slow(I used to watch them in HD720 resolution without buffering).
I contacted callcenter guy, he suggested me to check the speed on speed.tataindicombroadband.in and speed was actually about 2 mbps. But then I checked with many overseas servers of speedtest.net and didn't get speed above 0.2 mbps.

In short, I get proper 2mbps speed with domestic servers and less than 0.2 mbps with non-domestic servers.

I wanted to know is there breakage in cables laying on ocean beds ?
