Default Tata Indicom on Beetel 450TC1 (tried everything, still doesnt work on linux)

    Hi,

I am running Tata indicom on a Beetel 450TC1 (airtel) wifi router.

The internet runs on my Win 7 machine, but doesnt on my Samsung Galaxy S android phone and Ubuntu machine.

    Please help.

I tried following the steps from another thread (airtel to tata) for 2 hours but no success:

My screenshots are attached (internet, lan, wireless all in the zip file).

I will be very greatful if the knowledgable members here can help (esp essbebe)

    Thanks

Confirm you can connect to Internet with any other ADSL modem supplied by TataIndicom. ( Mention model/make/number )
Check the VPi/VCI 34 and 50 ( critical info ) which appears to be incorrect.
can be VPI VCI 0 and 32
Enter ID PW in Internet page ( PPPoE mode )
Post STATUS Device Info page. for PVC0.
Select PVC0 and deactivate rest to avoid confusion.
Screen shots show ZYXCEL 450TCI model but usually most menu items. same.

I have no idea about LINUX OS.
    Feedback.
More info screen shots in sig link 450TCI below.

    Para two:
. If the OS is Windows 7 and computer/laptop has a WLAN adapter
download "Connectify" and make it as an AP ( AccessPoint)
Limited range wifi access for smartphones etc.
    .

No I have connected Zyxcel p660r - t1 model supplied by tata indicom with with this beetel wireless router (using a lan cable). So the settings in beetel dont matter because I have put the vci /vpi settings in my Zyxcel adsl modem.

I am using the same connection right now it works with wifi or direct lan cable on my win7 laptop. doesnt work on phone (limited connectivity)

So do you suggest I connect the tata indicom line directly with beetel router?

    Edit:

Ok, its working now I removed the zyxcel modem and change vci vpi values directly in Beetel router.

Thanks a lot i dunno why i was so stupid

    1.Check the VPI/VCI values. confirm.
ZYXCEL P660R-T1 ( NO wireless ) works in Lan mode.
Keep it as standby. No changes.
    2.
and ZYXCEL 450TCI with same settings confirm LAN mode OK.
    3.
Mention Firmware version of 450TCI model.
    4.
(presume you could make your own SSID name )
    5.
In Internet page OUI select an index 3 or 4 with blank entries
    6.
There is NO WAN (Internet) input port in 450TCI.
So the settings in beetel dont matter because I......
Connecting to LAN1 etc little complicated.
