Thread: How to coonect another PC or Laptop on a existing connection

Connection Details : 7 GB 6 mnts Prepaid.
Router :Telenet TNDSL2120
Connection : To A Desktop
Location : Shaniwar Peth , Pune , Maharashtra.

Hi I Normaly get a good connection and speed is aroud 1 mbps...
I want to use this connection to my laptop.

What configaration I need to do at my laptop?

you need to connect the Network cable port and configure a new network connection on your laptop to connect to tata indicom broadband -- if you are not sure how this is to be done you can call up their Pune contact number 60607070 and they will walk you through the details for configuring your laptop

if you wann share the connection, u hv to get a router, connect router with the modem. The router would have a inbuilt switch by which u can connect more pc/laptop.

or just wann use on diff pc/laptop, note down the ip details
(in cmd prompt , type 'ipconfig /all')

and configure these settings on ur diff pc/laptop then connect ...
