Default Are Servers for Tata Wireless and Wired Broadband different?

    Hi Guys,

we already have 2 wireless Tata connection for our company .

we are thinking of a backup connection , so its either bsnl 8mbps or tata !!

Are Servers for Tata Wireless and Wired Broadband different?

Supposed if Wireless Server (A) is down from back end? then
will Wired Server (B) Will be still up?

Are Servers A and B independent of each other in case of outages?

    Thanks in advance

On the whole, it is better to go with two different ISPs to achieve redundancy. So my advice will be to go with BSNL or Airtel or Reliance, etc. and not Tata.

Tata Indicom ,or Teleservices (Pre 2G) was the FIRST telecom company, handed over for Private partnership and control , by the GOI by divesting 25% share on O.C.S ( Overseas Communication Services ) renamed Videsh Sanchaar Nigam Limited, and it appears the BB servers/links are used by BSNL/MTNL now also.
(Promise to expand Rural POTS etc in Andhra Pradesh )
All Overseas telecom links of GOI main job of VSNL. ( ex O.C.S)

In case of breakdown, all three ISPs may be affected.

Airtel will be better alternate ISP. No idea about Reliance. ( other major players)

Statement above subject to correction for factual error/s.

I use BSNL BB Home 750 and Wi5 ( Zylog) wifi BB as standby.
