Default Feedback of new Tata Docomo Connection

Finally i got myself a tata docomo wired broadband connection. The plan is 2mbps, unlimited. Post 20GB usage download speed will be up to 512kbps
Awesome experience so far, getting a download speed of 1-2mbps

Fingers crossed, hope it works well and gives me peace of mind.

    Need help though:
I have connected the broadband wire to my wireless router. After some trials, i was able to connect my laptop to the internet, over WiFi.
But other devices (tablet and phone) cannot connect to the internet. They recognize the WiFi network and even connect to the router, but i do not get access to the internet beyond the router. I even tried connecting with just ONE phone/tablet (sometimes ISPs impose a restriction of number of devices to be connected at a time), but no success.

Any idea on how i can fix this?

    Hi Niranjan,

How did you connect to the wifi router ?? I have a Cisco E900 router and was not able to configure the connection... The connection provided is through a wire without a modem... If I directly connect it to my system then a dial up screen comes and I am able to connect But when I route it to router it doesn't connect either through lan cable or wifi

Once LAN cable from the modem goes to the router. Switch ON the laptop's WiFi (and I think you may have to setup a Wifi netwrok through the Network & sharing section in Windows, don't remember right now if i did it). Access the "admin" page of the router. You may have to refer your router's manual to find the URL and login for the router's admin page. Once your are logged in to the router's admin page, you may have to navigate and check all the tabs for the place where you should configure the TATA docomo credentials.

    check these links:

I have a SiteCom router that I purchased from abroad years back. In the admin page, you should configure the TATA docomo credentials and then you should be good to go. That's how i did.

    Hth..

Thanks Niranjan, But my local service provider has not provided any modem, he just provided a cable which I have to plug directly into my system... maybe that's why the issue is coming

Plug the wire to your wifi router then. And then try what I told

It doesn't help as a new connection gets created along with the existing LAN connection and then the new connection and the existing connection both create multiple networks.... When try to login with the login id and password it gives error 651... no solution
