Thread: Tata Indicom 256kbps @ Rs. 199 plan for night unlimited usage.

Hi,

I am going in for the Tata Indicom 256 night plan.

My plan goes like this....
256KB - Monthly Rental Rs.199 (equipement/installation total free) - 8pm28am unlimited usage - else 50p/MB.

I would appreciate if you could give me some feedback on it.

Also why do we get download speed as 32kbps. I heard about the 1:8 compression ratio but am not too aware about it. How LONG would a movie roughly 750MB take to download with this speed.

well im usin the same plan,well it takes about 9 hours for me to downlaod a movie....which i feel is kinda long

Guys I perfer going for a prepaid instead. Its much secured as U know what amount u r going to loose.

The movie would take a real long time for download. So I don think u should be doing that. I rather prefer u to go to tata indicom website and check for the movies available. There is a free section which has a bunch of movies. You can just watch it online. Else , u can rent movies at as low as 10 rupees.

I bet u get the best print with the best sound.
