frnds tata has launched night unlimited plan for 299 and this is before 99 only.previously i use to get 200 above download speed and later i have disconected that.
now anyone tell me about the current downloading speed comming i:e for 299 per month offer plz reply me about the present download speed for night unlimited plan

on normal torents i get 160-180kbps i get 200 some times but the speed is really gooood

im getting 210 to 230 KBPS from direct downloads,200 to 210 in Rapidshare servers....................

They put any type of charges onto you - even in an prepaid plan. Beware of this company - I have suffered the same. Their service is terrible.

I too heard about this plan of late but do they offer any free download other than the night time unlimited download or this plan has only the night time unlimited as the free option?!

when i call this gays thay sead befour this plan u must buy other plan then i will get this plan and i have to play 2000 Rs coz i am new dont know any + the other plan Rs this is not good SUCK !

i am from chennai wat spped will i get in this plan is this plan worth are they giving god spped coz they r just saying 256/2 mbps so if i get just 30 kbps of downloading speed it wud be waste to me so plz say abt this

Whatever plan you select, the maximum download speed is always = plan speed / 8. So 256 kbps will give you max of 32 kBps.

p/s. Take maximum download speed with a pinch of salt. This is like saying Car X gives 20 kmpl under ideal test conditions.

I also came to know about the plan very lately. I am currently using Infinity 128 (128 kbps unlimited) plan. I am from Pune and I have been so far happy about the quality of service. Luckily no finance frauds and occasional connection problems. Apart from these, nothing very serious.

I get 15 kBps download speeds normally and thats what is expected. I found few issues in switching to night unlimited plan though:

1. This offer is only for time based plans i.e. 90 / 180 / 360 hours.
2. Those plans are not cheap!
3. They take the 299 from the monthly payment so for 360 hours roughly you get only 180 hours internet usage (in 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) and that has validity of 6 months.

I find the average user if uses 1 hour per day in non free hours and 5 hours on weekend then it should last about 2.5 months. Which will be very expensive.

People are free to make their own calculations though...
