Rep Power: 0 | Hi friends, i currently have a Unlimited 128 KBPS plan and it is going to expire in 2 days and this time i thought of renewing my account with a time based plan. I just have 1 question and guys who r on time based plan can help : right now since i have a UL plan so i am always connected to the net,i.e. as soon as i switch on my pc i get logged on to the net and there is no way to disconnect the net.....in time based plan how may i get connected to the net and more importantly how can i disconnect....???? PLS HELP ME ON THIS I told about this prob of mine the the CC ppl but they didnt gave a valid answer.....so pls answer quick as my net will expire soon and i have already ordered my new plan...!!!!! |

Rep Power: 0 | u can connect and disconnect using the connection u create in the network places...... after u disconnect and even if the modem is on the time wont be calculated.. i am usin a prepaid time based plan... |

Rep Power: 0 | Install the Tata Indicom Broadband Manager or even better switch off the router when you are finished using the connection. Just removing the connection cable from the back of the computer will not disconnect you from the server. |

| Junior Member | hey man i was using time based plan so i know something which i wish to tell you. when ever you wish to switch off you can turn off the power from router and you are simply turned off from the net and when ever you want to go online simply tunr on the power of router and you are online...i hope this will help you. |
