Default Trouble sharing internet on 2 PCS using BEFSR41

Hi, I have TATA VSNL 128 kbps with static ip.
I also have Linksys router BEFSR41. I want to share the connection with 2 boxes running Win XP.
I have configured the Router with static IP, and can share the connection with any ONE of the pcs.
Also if the internet connectino is removed from the Internet port, i can connect the two PCS.
When i re-insert the internet port cable, the POWER light on the router starts blinking and I loose connection on both PCS.

A side note: (I was able to connect 2 pcs using ICENET BB connection, though it had a dynamic ip PPPoE type)

    Help will be welcome.

Thumbs up Solution for sharing connection

    HI,

This might help others.. I am able to connect 2 pcs with my TNDSL2120 using DLink Switch model DES-1008V and it works a charm.

No need to change anything. I assigned automatic IP to both my pcs and static DNS as given by my ISP.

    Default

A switch is different that a router. Hence you found easy to connect multiple computers with a switch.

You must configure the Linksys router in Static PPPoE mode. Basically setups would be same as Dynamic PPPoE except that you would give a static IP to your router.
