Rep Power: 1 | The easiest and quickest is to get a 3G gateway which will share the modem for you and then you can connect to the router either via ethernet or wifi. There are some of these devices for sale on ebay. Search 3g router or evdo. I have purchased one as I was looking for a similar solution and I'm very happy with it. |

Rep Power: 1 | I got mine from ebay from a guy called 3g-guy. The unit I got was the portable usb powered one HM-433R. I use it with the reliance EC1260 modem and am very happy with it. I also got the car adapter with it so I can use it in the car and have my laptop and iphone connected at the same time. The speed is very good. I also have a friend who got the other model from the same guy off ebay, Tenda I think the router is called. He got it for home and is using the Tata photon + card. Again he is very happy with it. Hope this info helps. |

Rep Power: 1 | I looked for weeks to find a cheaper solution and this was the best I could find. Everything else I looked at was Rs 1500 and more than what I finally got my device for. If you really want a reliable sharing device to work with your card I would recommand one of these. |

Rep Power: 1 | When you add more computers on any connection the speed reduces, but 9 times out of 10 you get good speeds as not all users that are connected to the internet are actually using it. Today I was using my reliance connection with the router I got off ebay with 4 other associates at a trade show here in Mumbai and the speed was good. We were all able to do our email and basic web surfing no problems at all. One of the guys was even doing Skype with his wife and kids in New York while the the rest of us were doing email etc and there were no issues at all! This was the biggest test I had ever done with my reliance card and router, and it rocked. Again it saved our lives as the internet at the show we were at was really bad. We are now kicking ourselves for paying the Rs 10,000 for 3 days In my mind the router has already paid for itself |

Rep Power: 1 | Here is a link to the 3G-Guy on Ebay. He is selling the HM433R that I purchased along with another couple of models that support the BSNL EVDO ZTE 8700 modems. The guy has some feedback now on Ebay as well. 3 reviews and all very happy, just like me shop.ebay.in/3g-guy/m.html?_dmd=1...p=1&_rdc=1 |

Yeah I saw this as well. Thought hard about buying from the USA but then decided to buy locally because I wanted the local support and warranty. Have been burnt to many times with things from America / UK that don't work when they get here. | |
