Tata photon+ as we all know is being advertised a lot on television these days and as far as I know tata photon+ has many takers as well due to the brand appeal and the excellent marketing job done by who ever is advertising tata photon+ for Tata's these days.
There was a time when Reliance was the only mobile broadband selling thick and fast but Tata photon+ is playing catch up now and by the looks of it will dwarf the reliance mobile broadband customer base in a very short time if they continue to push those millions they are these days in advertising.

Tata photon+ has got many tariff plans to suit every need but I can sure do with some unlimited plans which they dont have at the moment.

Tata photon+ is providing a speed of upto 3.1mbps down link and an uplink speed of 1.2mbps I think... please correct me if I am wrong.

I have used the old Tata photon which was 100 something kbps without the + thing and the network coverage was not as good as Reliance so I switched. I am now using a Reliance mobile broadband onnection and plan to check out tata photon+ as well in a month or two may be.

Please share your experiences with tata photon+ in this thread.

I agree with you, i was one of the first customers of Tata photon+ when it was launched & i was lucky enough to get the unlimited data plan with no FUP for Rs. 1500 + Taxes. I download close to 100 GB every month( torrents) . I had a network issue only once & that was rectified within a day. i am happy with the service & the speed is great,i get speeds from 700 kbps to 2.2 mbps & occasionally the speed shoots upto 3.1 .

But everything depends on the area in which you stay,if you stay close to the tower the speed is great.

i would suggest people to first take a demo to see if they are getting good speeds in their area.

Unlimited for Rs1500/- per month? thats a great deal you have bagged there. Hopefully tata photon+ would have unlimited plans in future for new customers as well.

well, i think no matter what type of net you use, ISP's should provide 1 mbps UL @ 1K

if you are using Photon+ connection, please let me know the followimg.

1. Have you checked the connection speed?

2. Do you get Connect screen or Dial Up screen ?

3. Photon itself has 2 or 3 options, including wireless broad band. Customer care or their site does not elaborate on these issues.

4. Can any body highlight these differences.

5. I got cheated on these issues.

Uff, really horrible experiance for billing, for last month I got a surprising amount as bill, against that bill I have launched a call, but nothing ..after 1 week launched another call but till nothing. and the last billing date I went tata hub, they assured me don't pay revised bill will be sent, thn pay d amount but what happens after some days my connections are burred( as i called customer care, they informed me) and customer care people informed me it will be activeted within 12 hrs ..but ... nothing nothing nothing .... for a surprise a toll manager of tata hub suggested me that pay the full amount, can you imagine what a service.
