Rep Power: 1 | My Firm paid for a Tata Photon+ connection for my use on 7th september 2009. After verifying my physical existence, a Tata Srvice Personnel landed up in my office on 15th September 2009. This guy did not know his job. He struggled to install the software on my lap top HP Precario with XP OS. His 4 attempts failed, and software installation is unsucessful screen appeared. This guy took out his lenova and plugged this Dongle and fed some user ID and #777 phone number. Pulled out Dongle and inserted in my lap top. He got a Dial Up screen. He put some user ID and password and made a dial up connection. I was shocked out of my wits. Here I expected latest Photon + wireless portable internet connection, and he is handing me a dial up. I aked him as to what he did. He said has done trick, and added a dialer. I REFUSED TO ACCEPT, since I will not be able to do the trick when using elsewhere in India and that too in different PC/Lap top. He walked away with the dongle. After a lapse of 8 days my run around started. Tata sat Pretty on our payment. No communication. Then I rang 9220008282, a terrible Tata Call Center. They could not give any information, on insistence told me to visit veernariman road customer center. The Phone number 022-66542903 is rudely disconnected without answering by this Veernariman center. My Visit to this center in dsperation, had more surprises. An officer who was to attend to me took his own sweet time to boot up his system. Had no regard for the time of the customer. Then He declared that my connection is terminated. He had no further action. When asked for registering the complaint he refused, on my hunting down in charge, he had no time to talk to me. I have sent mail to customer care of Tata. They want me to accept termination and get new connection. For what purpose, i do not know. I did not ask for termination. I paid for getting a conection. No body is concerned. Senior officers are not accessible. Juniors & immatured man the counters. My issue is stll not resolved. Buyers beware of TATA service or should I say NO SERVICE. |

Rep Power: 1 | I have already sent two mails to Customer care. But there is no response. Now I have received notice of billing signed by Mr Srinivasan, VP Billing on 23 rd Sept 09 though the Service center system shows that the connection is disconnected on 16th Sept 09. My mail to him is also goimg on a spin. It appers either TATAs have poor internal communication, or they do not know what each department is doing. It also apperas that installation person of TATA might be involved in fraud racket and doging information from TATA, as can be judged by their recations. I shall wait for a few days for resolution of issue if not , I may have to lodge police complaint for fraud against this installation person of TATA. |
