I ve the followin queries on Tata Photon Whiz. Hop some1 could help me out.

1. I d taken up the Tata Photon Whiz USB Modem on postpaid package way bac in Aug' 09. I d it disconnected for over a year now. Is it possible to restart/reconnect on a prepaid package?
   
2. Wat ll be the maximum download speeds in torrent engines on Tata Photon Whiz?
   
3. Lastly, is it possible to sell my Tata Photon Whiz USB Modem???

Hi, Please find the replies,

1.Yes, you can opt for prepaid connection with the same device, for which you need to visit Tata Indicom outlet.
2. The speed of Photon whiz will be Upto 153.6 kbps.
3. Yes, you can sell the Photon whiz device.

Forget about torrents when using the Tata Photon Whiz. It won't give you more than 3-4 kBps on the torrents. From direct downloads average can be 10-12 kBps.

If you purchase Tata Photon + and return the Whiz, the Tata Indicom outlet may give you Rs. 400 discount. However, it may vary from city to city.

its better u invest on a 3G 7.2Mbps modem @around 2500! and grab bsnl 3G sim for using. And soon more 3G players are coming!

Tata photon+ sucks bigtime! just like its GSM 3G !
