Thread: Tata Photon in Noida

Folks from Noida - can someone tell me any particular sector where Tata Photon+'s coverage is bad. Since the mobile broadband towers are separate from Dial Up towers, I've heard Sec 50 & 41 are worst affected when it comes to Photon + coverage.

Any 1st hand experience would be appreciated.

didnt get any responses here but decided to call the Tata Photon sales/distributor guy to come over to my house and give me a demo. Got speeds varying from 150 Kbps - 250 Kbps. Solid connection. All installation, paper work done in 1 hour flat. Started using the device. Works like a charm so far.

Pretty satisfied. Lets see how it goes.

sahi hai....but the fair usage policies in Tata reallllly sucks at 5GB.
Speeds of 100-300 kbps means, you can download an entire sets of seasons, HD movies and many more things in a single month which will definitely exceed 5GB, so after that 5Gb limit (of Tata) the speed will suck at 150kbps.

In case of MTS it is 12 GB I think
& although not mentioned in BSNL website, but I think it is around 10 GB (acc. to some people there's no such FUP in BSNL.)

actually higher speeds are not necessarily capped at 5 GB. It depends on the plan. Took one which caps it at 10 GB. Monthly rental 900/- (post discount)
