Worst customer support.
I’ve been using Tata photon plus pre paid for the past few months. The reason why I took this device was had a trust on TATA, but it was totally spoiled by the customer service they gave me. About 2 weeks ago my device stopped working. And it was because of insufficient balance (as told by the customer service people) and I recharged it for Rs 500. I don’t know what happened from then it was showing error 691, user name / or password denied by the domain. Soon I called up the customer service center , they said there was some problem with the network and it will be resolved soon. The next day the same problem, I called up the customer care they said the user name and password is wrong and they asked me to change it to number - ttls.in and the password to capital letter I and rest in small letter. i.e. Internet. I tried many times it still didn’t work out. The next day they said the username and password is wrong which you have entered change it to number -photon.ttsl.in and the password to small letter internet. I told them the same customer service people gave me the other username and password. But still it was not working, the next day I called up, they registered a complaint, they said a technician will be visiting you within 24hrs, No one did. I was waiting the whole day. The next day I called up explain the whole story they said, they are really sorry and will be sending a technician at any cost within 6hrs, as usual no one came. Again the next day morning I again called up and asked for the supervisor, I explained the whole story again; even he said the same whatever happens today a technician will be calling you for sure. He said, he is also sending a mail about this complaint now itself.After that i'v requested then to change my plan to post paid at least, but as always nothing happened,at last i got fed up and threw my device. My total loss of money Rs 2499 (device) + Rs 700(Which i'v recharged) Let me tell you something TILL now no one has come here or gave me a call. My problem still persists. Thanks to the superb customer service from TATA.
Now its more than five months and i got a call recently that they wanted to meet me and talk about the problem faced by me from TATA, and i said ok. one person came that day evening and asked me to fill some forms, i asked him his valid ID card that he is working for TATA, He was not having any card to prove to that he is working with TATA, i don't understand how TATA people sent service persons not even without a proper id! Tell me how am i suppose to give him a feed back? and the very next day i got a call from the same person asking for the payment, saying that i am having a panting amount of Rs 3000 to be paid. I'v totally no idea what TATA mean by this as i couldn't use it for a single time after i registered a complaint. And i also got a threatening call from TATA saying that i should make the payment as soon as possible. Before that let me ask you something ,where is my balance Rs 700 which i recharged in my account?
