    Exclamation Over-billed, Tata Photon Plus

    I have purchased a Tata Photon plus.
    Account no. 977252773
    Del no. 9222292129

    In my first month bill (Bill no. 859040077), I found it to be over-charged. So I requested for the details. The details are showing roaming charges, but I have never taken the device out of mumbai. And also it is showing upload/downlaod in the timings in which I use to be in my office. I have never used the device at day time(weekdays), but the timings are mentioned in the details.
    After getting that huge bill, i stopped using the device, but still I got a bill of Rs 1,762 in next month also(Bill no. 871150921).
    I have complained to the customer care many times, but they did not respond.
    Please resolve my problem as soon as possible on priority basis, because I have received advocate notice for bill payment.

    Default TATA PHOTON cancellation process is HELL

    Hi, I have used TATA Photon plus broadband services. I requested for cancellation on 2-Dec-2010. But customer service said it will get disconnected. But they ended up saying it

    got barred on 13-Dec-2010, no input and output calls can be made and said it got completely disconnected on 21-Dec-2010. Even though I have not used services after 2-Dec-2010,

    they are saying, I have to pay the amount. For activation it takes only one hour and for cancellation it takes 3 weeks. Even I am not able to contact customer service through phone, it says invalid account number or phone number. I am not even able to pay the amount using internet or phone service as it says, invalid account number.

    I am just communicating through emails as I deputed to abroad on job purpose. Their email response is very poor. I complained to consumers forum. I am waiting to contact my lawyer if it does not work out.

    I think the user has very clearly mentioned his bill details and so you should take no time in taking actions regarding his problems, rather asking for more information and wasting time in it..
    bill and account no. are mentioned which is enough to trace details, i think..

    I have received my last month's (5th Feb to 5th March) Tata Photon Plus bill and it shows 17gb download and 10gb upload which is totally not matching to my figures. I have downloaded 6.4 gb of material from internet and done about 1.7gb of uploading. They have now barred my internet connection and are now asking me to pay an amount bill of Rs 10,500 otherwise my internet connection would not be activated. I have been paying all my internet bills on time since last 1 year and I have never made a complaint against their over metering of internet usage. They are now harassing me like this.

    The internet usage is totally manipulated from their server which I always doubted but never bothered to make an enquiry on this matter. Now that the figures are being inflated to such an extent and that the way they are harassing me for a little delay and that too not even yet crossing my bill payment due date (24th march) I am bound to take some actions this time.

    I want the Tata-Team to mail me the detail internet usage records to me so that I can check and verify how my internet usage has gone so up. Please do the needful.

    And also I want my internet connection to be activated asap.

    Please first thing, remove your personal information A.S.A.P.
    This is not a place for complaining.In this forum many people who have been through the problem can suggest you possible actions.

    I want the Tata-Team to mail me the detail internet usage records to me so that I can check and verify how my internet usage has gone so up. Please do the needful.
    We have no control over any corporate agency and we are unable to do that kind of needful. But yes if you wait someone may suggest you with their answer.
