Thread: Tata Wifi slow speed solved !!!

Hello,
some weeks ago I got a Tata Wifi Modem connecting to Internet over Photon Plus.
Download Speed was always very slow. No I could improve it.
Is somebody interested how - it is really craizy !!!


Here is the solution:
If the Tata Photon Wifi is connected to the electric power supply (to charge the battery), the downlod speed is very low (ab. 0,5 Mbs).
If I deconnect it from the electrical Power Supply, the speed goes up to 1.5 Mbts and is much more constant.
I think, there is a mechanism inside the router to stop high speed during it is connected to the electrical supply.... Does this make any sense ? Or is it a marketing trick of Tata Indicom ?

It would be nice if you could share whatever solution you have instead of asking if anyone wants it because if you post your solution then people will come searching for it to this thread.
