    Default Photon+ Sucks " Avoid it at any cost

    I have Tata photon+ connection . account number : 937321221
    Earlier I was very happy with the speed ...but for the last couple of days , I cannot open even google which is the lightest web page during peak hours...
    In the night , speed is good ...
    What is the point in having internet connection , if I cannot use it during the day time ....does TATA expects me to be awake during whole night so that I can use my internet connection.....
    I dont have TATA indicomm phone ...so for each call to the customer care , I have to pay from my pocket ( dont hv landline ,so toll free number also chargeable for me ) ...today only I hv spent arnd 200Rs to talk to customer care ..but uselesss ....they kept transferrinng my call from one department to anohter....and then there so called engineer who considered himself MIT passed out told me to delete cookies so that internet speed will be increased ....i was laughing and told him this is not the solution but seems that ws the only knnowledge he had ..delete cookies to increase ur speed ....jahhaha
    TATA PHOTN SUCKS big time ....DONT WASTE UR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT ...WHATS THE POINT IF U CANNOT SURF INTERNET DURING PEAK HOURS >.....

    Default Just checked tata photon plus -95% signal-0.25 mbps from 3 mumbai,delhi,colombo !

    Photon plus pepaid is on stand by for the last 4-5 months.
    Just charging Rs 250/250mb every 30 days to carry forward 5-6 GB credit balance and keeping it for emergencies. Using BSNL 3G and other 3G mostly.

    Just now inserted photon.
    with 95% signal ,speed test is showing 25 KBPS only from all 3 servers. But able to browse. ( normally used to get 0.5 mbps minimum)

    This holidays -should ask the kid to use up/finish the 6 GB credit and put away their modem .Not even worth Rs 250/month kacha even.
    All Gprs Rs 98/2GB packs are giving 20-25 KBPS !!

    Or Rather spend it on BSNL 3G -606 voucher (above 3.6 mbps)

    Seems Photon people have read my post ...I m unable to surf during night also ......they r bunch of useless people who dont know nything abt customer care and hv no information abt their product

    I apologize that I took TATA photon connection ...seems considering my complaint on priority was taken seriously ....but the complain was closed without providing any resolution ...lol'z

    I am sure you have some power in TATA Photon department ....today received call from your customer care center and had discussion for almost 30 minutes ....I tried to explained him that my internet usage details are not being updated properly and no updation has taken place after 25th March.

    *When I check online on my account on tata indicom website , in the internet usage details , details upto 25th March only has been updated and not after that even those details are incorrect


    Your Customer care executive is too smart to understand such a small issue and he blindly sent me the screenshot of the incorrect billing details only.....

    What kind of people are in tata phton dept ....there r people in ur technical dept who suggests that deleting cookies in web browser will increase photon speed .....other telecallers discuss problems for 30 minutes but forget everything the moment they finish the con call and god knows what solution they provide ..........


    PLEASE GO THROUGH OTHER POSTS >..PEOPLE HV BEEN COMPLAINING ABT UR BILLING SYSTEM but you people think thats correct ...plz fix the bugs as soon as possible ....this is not good for the reputtaion of the product ......

    Even a SNAIL can speed it up with tata indicom ...... i ve used it and really its a nightmare and pain to pocket.
