Tata Photon connectivity is the worst and their customer care

    Default Tata Photon connectivity is the worst and their customer care

    I bought tata photon plus in oct 2010 from the date of taken i am getting a very slow speed of 256kbps and downloading speed is 20 to 30 kbps some times it give upto 70kbps but constantly its below 35kbps. Everytime during the downloading the connection interrupt and download failed and i loose my data usage. I complained against this problem but company is giving excuses.i was checked with other photon plus its working fine and 125 to 180 kbps i'm getting and i told to tata care people but no use and i asked for replace the device its in warranty only but they refuse. and the worst reply they told the speed like that only 20 to 30 kbps if u want u use other wise cancel ur connection. the worst tata care
    So don't buy tata photon plus

    compare to tata service center bsnl is the best they even try to resolve the problem

    I 2 bought a photon+ 1 month ago and at that time its speed was miracle for 2 days but today after 1 month i got it reacharged today with unlimited 2 gb plan and its speed is sucking i am planning to buy bsnl3g . if photoners agree with me post yes to this thread

    AND TATA PHOTON IS JUST WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME as it does not gives u time nor speed just lies and gives u a big frustration and BSNL EVDO is opposite to it and it roxxx

    Hi,

    I got prepaid Tata Indicom and it works fine and Tata Photon Plus is New to Mokokchung, Nagaland.

    THE SPEED AND CONNECTIVITY IS SUPERB!!!

    Hope Tata Indicom will Keep the service and connectivity good in days to come.

    (The only thing I did not get is Post Paid Connection...)

    Let's watch and see.

    Indeed Tata Photon connectivity issues are widely known now.

    I stay in Pune and had bought this connection mid last year, the speed was reasonably OK at the start and started deteriorating slowly. At times i started getting 30-50 kbps speed. where as the minimum commitment from Tata photon is 256 kbps. I registered complaints twice, here are the series of events.

    Complaint 1:

    Registered a complaint -an engineer visited -confirmed the slow speed - said by tuning some frequency changes i will start getting good speed - i called up call centre after receiving no response - they inform me that nothing can be done as given the infrastructure in Pune I should be getting this speed, either i live with it or disconnect.

    Complaint 2:

    This only means that through aggressive marketing the service is sold and once sold Tata is not concerned about the quality. This means Tata is forcing me to pay a premium for a broad connection only to get a dial up speed.

    Moreover I am consistently harassed for payment when the due to date is a good 2-3 days away. I have never had such an experience when an agency calls up to pay bills when the due date is a still not arrived.

    This definitely goes to say that Tata fares poorest in terms of service quality and bad customer service for wireless broadband. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
