I won't be surprised at this package as tariff war hots up,companies are only going to launch unprecedented schemes to lure customers.Tata website does not show any such plan, will call CC to confirm.
Reliance has also come up with a similar priced plan.
BTW i heard we need to own a blackberry to avail these unlimited plans. Is that true?
the blackberry plan is for Rs.2500 incl. unlimited data.
this is supposed to be a non-blackberry plan.
Ahh thanks for the clarification

well, seems my friendly neibourhood shop-owner did not indicate the fine prints.
thanks for the update.
i'm waiting for MTNL's that kinda plans............
Its highly unlikely whether GSM providers will start giving away such offers. If u look carefully u will notice that only CDMA providers are giving away such freebies. The difference lies in the way the bandwidth is handled in GSM and CDMA. And the current GSM providers cannot afford this.
I agree.
for the same spectrum, CDMA is capable of handling much higher number of lines than GSM. So the distributed capital cost (infrastructure cost) per connection is much lower in case of CDMA than GSM.
gr8 plan ... is this plan for all cities? really good for people who travel a lot ...
what is Blackberry plan? which is truely unlimited?
How much we have to pay for it per month?
from where this blackberry thing came from achanak se.........![]()

They are giving the same plan to blackberry users, but it is truly UL. The only criteria is that we must posses a BB.![]()
no dear its not me gary4gar wants this info.................
I am unsure about the tariff. Saw it as 2k, 2.5k and 3k in different forums. But i know that there exists two plans, one for blackberry users and other for normal users. Normal users have the free minutes capped at 3000. But from blackberry users it is pure UL.
STD and roaming is also covered as free usage.
Would have loved to switch to 2500 plan if it was a non-blackberry plan.
plan 2.5K is very attractive, but going for a Blackberry is tough.
