Default Tata's Unique Pay Per Call Plan

Have all of you heard about this plan. Its a revolutionary concept. Search in google for it.
Frankly speaking I consider it to be a gimmick. They'll not be able to afford it for more than a few months and then they'll start changing the original idea to something more profitable. Any ways its just a plan with 10 times the pulse of a normal call(somewhat).

It's the start of another price war though! Comments?

    Cool problem with paypercall plan

    Dear friends,
I took the tata indicom paypercall plan 3days back. I would suggest you people to not to hurry in going for this plan. As I facing few problems with the connection.
    1. Some times I could not call to 12524(which is customer care number prepaid), the call abrubptly ends. That was the initial problem. Later I could not talk to the customer care person. There is a option in IVRS. It asks to press number 9 to contact customer care person that does not comes some times. I lodged a complaint by going to tata true value hub, sahara mall, gurgaon.

    2. I am not able to call to some STD mobile and land line numbers. There is no problem for the STD numbers for which I could call by my other landline phone(From Airtel). I asked the same with the customer care person they say please call us after some time.Sofar there is no solution for this.
    3. When I call to STD numbers sometimes the call ends automatically after it finishes 10minutes. That is after 10min 59sec the call ending. I am doubt that does this belongs to any of their fair usage policy, if it is then it will be pathetic to bear with this plan.

I will post you guys once and if any of these problems solves by the tata indicom customer care ( I hope they may provide a good service) at the earliest.
Please share me if anyonefaced similiar problems from the same plan.

    regards
    ivs prasad

    i m using it since 6 days.

last week wen i went to tata offc in Secunderabad - the person said ki if i buy a new tta cdma sim (wid the spl pay per call offer ) then local calls will be 1rs/1hr and STD 3rs/hr.... i wasted my 3hrs of Practice(i m a Dr) n purchased the sim but as soon as i came home, they gave me a call that tata head offc has called off the scheme...

so next sent day i returned the new sim. and then activated the pay per call scheme on my old sim . now its 1rs/10min local and 3rs/10min STD. SMS local / national - 50p.

This offer sounds like too good to be true. If you read in between the lines, they also say that if you are exploting this feature, they will ask(read as force) you to switch to another plan.

    Just a marketing gimmick IMHO.
