Thread: Tata Docomo One Paisa for Six seconds

Tata Docomo, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL), has recently launched its 'BuddyNet' community, as part of which locals calls to members will be offered at one paisa for six seconds. The offer, valid for all prepaid subscribers, will provide tariffs as low as one paisa for six seconds on local calls and one paisa for two seconds on STD calls made to other BuddyNet users, TTSL said in a statement.
I think this is actually the lowest call rate I have seen so far, and it was Tata Docomo I think who were the first to launch the 1 paisa per second or something like that scheme, now all mobile service providers are moving into this line to make sure that their customers stay with them.

Wrong.lowest call rate was with tata indicom and virgin. they had one paisa ten seconds scheme for prepaid.

In Kerala, Aircel has a Friends and Family Plan... Don't know if it is available everywhere.....

You can register 5 local Aircel nos(which can be changed anytime, making it possible to call local Aircel number at this rate ), and call at 1ps/6sec all day...

The first call to any of the numbers on each day will cost Rs.1 extra.....
i.e if you call for 30s, you have to pay Rs. 1.05....

All the further calls can be made at 1ps/6sec rate............

The sim I took had this offer by default.... For other customers, they can activate it by an easy recharge of Rs.5...........

I found this a very useful plan, main reason being that it doesn't charge anything extra or rentals once activated for Rs.5.....
