Thread: Why is TATA docomo so slow?

yesterday i bought a docomo sim and its very slow!!!
a simple page is taking several minutes to load...

it takes around 15 mins to download a 4 MB file

one of my frnds told that docomo is slow at nights.. is it true/?

shall i switch back to airtel?

yes your friend is correct. and not just speeds, the disconnections are also very high in night. sometimes, network failure happens so much that your phone will get disconnected within just 30 seconds of connection..
i guess night with docomo must be a nightmare for guys who did 33/- recharge. as because they would be able to do net just after 4 am till 7am (after which standard charges apply).

no offence but it is also not very good in daytime also
speed is slow

i switched back to airtel ... atleast its faster than docomo

opt airtel/vodafone instead

Docomo has now dismiss UMTS network service for 2G GPRS user, only EGDE is wokring, so in your device you need to select Network setting either manual or Automatic+GPRS only.

due to this browsing spees has been reduced to 20-45 KBPS. if you want to download better you download multilple download at same time using FDM or IDM etc, which will give you better result.

Please share your result if possible. or any alternate to increase browsing speed
