Thread: my expriance with TATA dOcOmO...

hi friends, so yesterday when i got totally frustrated from idea internet, i simply went to store near me and paid rs 60 for tata dOcOmO sim. after 2 hours its got working...
reasons for frustration with idea: less network coverage inside my home
worst gprs speed.. it never goes up than 3KBps, its just worst speed...
dont know what the f*cking problem is in my arrea that airtel, vodafone all works like hell in term of gprs on pc..

so back to docomo.. i was got shocked when i saw idea's network in docomo sim, i thought might be its taking roaming then i called customer care and they said that they are taking idea's network in Jaipur...
same idea from which i was so weired.. what the hell...???

anyway's docomo have better network in terms of idea, but voice clearity is very poor, during call u can't listen other person's voice, lot of breakage during call.
regarding gprs, its not good but ok, its going up to 7 kBps and with accelerator up to 15 kBps.

please docomo improve quality in my area.. signals are just jumping up and down...
i'm thinking for bsnl landline but i'm living on rent so address proof problem, and i can't spent more than 500 per month for internet... any suggestions guyz? what to do?

yess... docomo has bad voice quality...

Network signals vary from place to place.
Dont you have Airtel, Vodafone Gprs ? They are above average to good for "E" network. 150-180 kbps .
Uninor also ok if you get good signal.
All this info for only GPRS not voice. Have different sim for each purpose.

i would like to share my docomo experiance too. . . . .

I just don't know why DOCOMO paired up with tata, it might had been tough for docomo to establish itself in india alone . . . But not impossible i think . Tata teleservices already include tata indicom,virgin mobile and now tata docomo. . .
My tata docomo delivers me very very very poor internet speed. . . .slightly greater than 13-14 kbps with 2g recharge voucher and 40 kbps with 3g recharge. . .i use internet in my mobile browser. . . I used to get 104-105 kbps with bsnl 2g sim under 3g network in varanasi . . . I m not in varnasi now but bsnl sucks better here in bangalore . .
It gives 1-5kbps with 2g sim under 3g network.
. And if i would speak about edge haha haha 4 kb per 7-8 sec . . . Oh! God bless my internet speeds. . . . . .
