Thread: Tata Docomo Full Satisfaction in Mumbai.

I had a Tata Docomo Sim. All mobile service providers are horrible in the end! I never expected any to be good. But to my surprise, Tata was the most Satisfactory!

Network : 4/5
Mumbai : Got network everywhere even in lift. No call drops even in train.
Roaming In highway and Rest Of Maharashtra was Superb. They have 3G spectrum in Maharashtra. So enjoyed 3G there. Got 3G even in Highways and in an old closed factory of mine located in a remote place totally! And speeds were 4.1 mbps there!

Connectivity : 4.5/5 Voice quality was outstanding. No call drops and used to get connected in no time.

Service : 5/5. Polite and straight-forward non-ignorant professional customer care in the Tata Store. Was impressed. Calls to customer care were picked within 10 seconds like they had promised in Ad. And again they know their work and very polite and professional.

Charges : 5/5. They gave exact Value for Money!

STILL I PORTED OUT! WHY!? :

1) No 3G in Mumbai 2) No network at Matheran where I visit frequently. (In Matheran you get only BSNL, Vodafone, Idea, Tata Indicom. Zero network of Reliance (GSM/CDMA), Airtel, Tata Docomo and Others! )

If 3G starts in Mumbai and they put towers in Matheran, I'll be switching back blindly to Tata Docomo. It was the BEST!

One more good thing. I applied for MNP. They ported-out my number in 3 days in 1st attempt without doing any fraud like other Telcos. They only called once asking the reason and I told the reason and they accepted and ported-out my number smoothly!
