Thread: Tata docomo speed went down don't know why???

Guys i have tata docomo 2gsm sim which i use on my nokia 5300 mobile and connect my dell pc (windows 7) through bluetooth & it gives speed around 50-85 kbps on gprs rs.98/- 4 gb pack for 1 month.

Recently i have purchased micromax mmx 352 g fully unlocked usb modem and i used my tata docomo 2gsm sim with it i got consistent speed around 108-110 kbps and pages were loading very fast even i have manual selected UTMS network mode i was able to register to that network but for past 3 days i am only getting 35-55 kbps speed and i am not able to manually register to UTMS network mode due to which speed is less bcos data card shows that it is connected to GSM network mode ,kindly suggest what to do to get connected to UTMS mode again and get 108-110 kbps speed.

Right now i am getting 32 kbps speed while i am connected my pc with nokia 5300 mobile through bluetooth and late night i get around 85-95 kbps speed with this only as well as on mmx352g data card.

I think it was a loophole in docomo's network and hopefully they have fixed it now...

my personal experience with docomo 2g sim 3g network stuff

on 2g signals 1gb was enough (downloading )
on 3g signals 10 gb was enough

I forgot to mention that few days back i have sent a sms ACT 3G to 53333 from usb modem & after that speed went down for tata docomo 2g, do you think i could be the reason for not able to register to UTMS network mode.
