yes the service is very good n all... but the main question: when does anything good even airs on the telly when u wud want to record one thing while watching something else!!

even a single good thing is a rarity these days, when will u find two things simultaneously, or even one if u wanna record for a later time...

U see, its not just about the price. U might think 9000 is alot, but you must see what all you're getting for it. I have Tata Sky Plus and I love it.
Firstly, its cheaper for existing subscribers (like me).
Secondly, pausing a cricket match or a TV show when some idiot decides to call you or you need to go to the bathroom is unbelievable.
Thirdly, rewinding TV to watch those moments that you missed or wanna hear something again is great too.
Fourthly, if you have ever seen the back of the Tata Sky Plus box, you would notice it has 2 cable inputs, 1 USB port and component inputs. If you're remotely aware, this has everything to do with HD video. I have clarified with Tata Sky, and this box is the same box that you can use for using HD Video whenever that service starts.

So you may be investing heavily now, but its only one time. Hope this helps people who are looking to buy Tata Sky Plus also.

you dont seem like a TV fan to me, otherwise m sure you would not have had this prb, as for me.. sometimes i am caught between two movies and every saturday between cookery show tht my mom wants to watch and friends on zee cafe tht i dont like to miss, some times same issue in the eve... for people like me, this is a good option.
